Cedar Ridge Camp

At Cedar Ridge Camp, we believe that as individuals participate in groups, they form close and lasting bonds. Hard work and play in a natural setting will encourage individuals to learn the values of teamwork and compromise, and the satisfaction of person achievement and skill development.

Did you know that the first canoe was built between 8200 and 7600 BC?

The word canoe comes from Kenu which means dugout as many of the first canoes were dugout of large trees. If you have the time on your way to camp, we recommend visiting the Canadian Canoe Museum in Peterborough http://www.canoemuseum.ca/
