Did you know that the first camp on the Cedar Ridge site was camp Wangoma, which was built in 1956? The site was later purchased by a local church and run as Camp Natureland. Cedar Ridge purchased the property on December 22, 2005.

Cedar Ridge Camp

At Cedar Ridge Camp, we believe that as individuals participate in groups, they form close and lasting bonds. Hard work and play in a natural setting will encourage individuals to learn the values of teamwork and compromise, and the satisfaction of person achievement and skill development.

On September 12, the Cedar Ridge Camp Running Club will embark on their most ambitious (and hilly) journey yet! Fifty runners will take to the trail to run a half marathon or 10 km in support of Amici campers. Amici Camping Charity supports children from low-income families with overnight summer camp experiences.
If you can spare some, please help me in giving the gift of camp to kids that need it. No donation is too small, every penny counts.
Thank you in advance for your support!

Last night would have been our final candlelight ceremony, the chance for campers and staff to reflect on the summer, from the friendships they made to the challenges they overcame.

Although this summer was a little different, we hope you had the opportunity to further friendships, challenge yourself and try something new.

To quote one of our campers, “the best thing about camp ending is that we are that much closer to next summer.”

We can’t wait to see the whole CRC community back again in 10 months and 2 week!
