    Fun Fact Did you know that the first canoe was built between 8200 and 7600 BC. The word canoe comes from Kenu which means dugout as many of the first canoes were dugout of large tress.  If you have the time on you way to camp, I would recommend visiting the Canadian Canoe Museum in Peterborough  http://www.canoemuseum.ca/

  • Lake Wannamaker

    Did you know that Wannamaker Lake is a spring fed lake approximately 184 acres in size with a maximum depth of 43 feet.  Wannamaker Lake is a medium sized lake and about 70% of its shoreline is crown land.  Fish species in the lake include smallmouth and largemouth bass, perch and splake.
